I think it's about time I finished up the recap of Spring Break 2010, since it's now almost Summer Break 2010...
Our last port was Puerto Vallarta. We took the city bus to a beach where we knew there would be parasailing, since some of the braver members of our family wanted to try it.
Reed was the first to go. Here he is receiving his pre-flight instructions.

JJ really wanted to do it, but when she got all hooked up, she looked a little unsure about the whole thing. But she insisted on going ahead with it.
Here she is pulling on the strings in order to make the parasail go in the right direction
Here is Reed enjoying his ride
Then we were off on our next adventure.

Hank got a little carried away with swinging his legs around
and he kind of fell out of his seat.
He ended up "hanging" instead of sitting for his ride.
Then we were off on our next adventure. We took the bus to Playa Mismaloya
for some swimming and snorkeling.
We got off the bus and then walked down
this little alley all the way down to the beach
He was 4 years old and was hanging out at the beach
while his dad was off selling things.
He hung out with us for quite a while.
He didn't speak any English,
but Hank was able
to communicate with him in Spanish.
He was a friendly little guy.
We never did meet his Dad and thought it was
kind of strange for him to be on the beach
without any supervision...

Lafa is four year old child and he is looking very cute but you are also very friendly to communicate with Lafa.
ReplyDeleteIt cracks me up how Hank always has to push the limits on about every attraction he goes on, whether it's alpine slides, potato sack slides, parasailing, etc. Glad he made it safe!
ReplyDeletePretty crazy about that little boy all alone at the beach.
Sally, ssk Hank when he got kicked out of Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I love the look on JJ's face. Was she glad she did it?
whoops, I meant "ask"
ReplyDeleteBy the looks of that photo, I'm guessing Hank is going to be included in the company's next parasailing brochure.
